Confidex Cruiser™ - a Class 1Gen2 RFID UHF label for tyre manufacturing

Confidex offers RFID UHF Class 1 Generation 2 compliant label for tyre manufacturing with product Confidex Cruiser™. It is designed to withstand the production process including pressure and heat as applied to the inside of the tyre during the building process.

The product has been designed to provide 3 - 4 meter read range until the tyres are mounted on customer vehicles. Confidex Cruiser provides tyre manufacturers and their retail trading partners’ complete end-to-visibility for these difficult to track high-value items.

Typical applications

Confidex Cruiser is typically used for vehicles’ tyre identification. It has been primarily designed for the production to enable wireless tracking of tyres while being produced and handled in the supply chain. Business cases currently under work require fail-safe tracking of tyres when moved around in the production facilities and where visual inspection is not reliable enough. The Cruiser label enables better visibility to the point of sale, especially when new product types are introduced.
