Confidex offers RFID UHF Class 1 Generation 2 compliant label for tyre manufacturing with its product Confidex Cruiser™. This is designed to withstand all elements of the production process, which includes surviving the pressure and heat applied to the inside of the tyre.

The product has been designed to provide 3 - 4 meter read range until the tyres are mounted on customer vehicles. Confidex Cruiser provides tyre manufacturers and their retail trading partners’ complete end-to-visibility for these difficult to track high-value items.

Confidex Cruiser is typically used for vehicles’ tyre identification. It has been primarily designed for production to enable wireless tracking of tyres while being produced and handled in the supply chain. Currently, it is used when there is a requirement for fail-safe tracking of tyres being moved around the production facilities and where visual inspection is not reliable enough. The Cruiser label ensures better visibility to the point of sale, especially when new product types are introduced.
